|Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Rodriguez conducted an unannounced case management inspection and met with Susan McAfee today. The purpose of this inspection was explained. This facility submitted the necessary paperwork to increase its capacity from 60 to 90 school age children. A granted superintendent certificate was issued to this facility granting the increase. This facility currently operates on an existing functioning school site. A fire clearance was submitted on August 11, 2017 for the increase. LPA inspected the licensed areas for health and safety hazards today. The additional classroom added for the increase of capacity is room 21. The other classrooms currently licensed as of now are: rooms 22, 24, and 23 A. LPA observed no hazards in the new classroom. A functioning carbon monoxide detector has been placed in the room and the hand sanitizer bottles and fluids have been placed high up on shelves. |
Furthermore this school site has recently received a routine fire inspection. A copy of this fire inspection will be submitted into the licensing office for review.
Based on today's inspection LPA will be granting a provisional license granting the increase from 60 to 90 once the copy of the fire inspection has been received. The formal license will be granted when the original fire clearance that was submitted on August 11, 2017 has been granted and mailed back to the licensing office.
