13 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Kiriko Pratt conducted a closing complaint investigation, and met with Program Manager Jade Meihl. During the investigation, LPA had interviewed Site Coordinator, staff, children, parents, and CAPC program management staff regarding the nature of the complaint. LPA also collected documentation and records related to the complaint, and observed care and supervision provided to children by Site Coordinator and staff during the investigation.
It was alleged that a staff member yelled at children. The CAPC program management staff stated that although it was alleged that a staff member yelled at children, which had also been separately reported to them, they conducted an investigation, including multiple classroom observations and staff and parent interviews, and did not find evidence of yelling or any inappropriate verbal conduct from teachers towards children. Based on interviews, documentation, and other information gathered, LPA found there was not a preponderance of evidence to prove or negate the allegation, therefore the allegation is unsubstantiated. LPA reviewed report with the Program Manager Jade Meihl and Site Coordinator Veronica Kelley, Exit Interview conducted, and Notice of Site Visit posted. No Title 22 deficiencies were cited during today's visit. |
