The purpose of this visit is to approve this facility for a Capacity Increase.
Licensee contacted the city of Fresno and is in the process of obtaining the required permit/license from the City of Fresno. Licensee said she is suppose to hear from the City contact person on Monday 7/6/15.
LPA viewed licensee's pull down alarm and heard her smoke alarm.
Fire Clearance has been received in the Fresno CCL office.
LPA Musso and licensee discussed the issue of who would be assisting licensee with the children once she was in the capacity of a large family child care home.
Licensee has her husband and assistant Ruby Pacheco fingerprinted, cleared and associated to this facility already and will be adding two additional assistants. Licensee understands that all adult assistants need to
be fingerprinted, cleared and associated to this facility prior to working/assisting with children at this home.
LPA also discussed the Maximum Capacity Worksheet with licensee to prevent an overcapcity deficiency. Licensee informed LPA that she does understand the capacity levels in cases of having less than 8 (she has
to follow the small maximum capacity worksheet) and when she has more than 8 children at one time (she
needs to have an assistant assisting her. Licensee also understands that she is allowed to have a 14 yr old assistant as long as no minor is ever left alone supervising children.
Licensee said she will continue to use the same rooms for the children as she previously has used.
No Title 22 deficiencies cited during today's visit.
